The Bitcoin Executor
The work
The film is in late post-production, a work-in-progress of about 110 minutes. What remains is the part audiences actually meet: a theatrical plan, marketing, posters, and ticketing that can settle on Bitcoin. BFTA’s approved micro-grant is one stake in that finish. The project still needs patrons who want the film in rooms — New York, Los Angeles, Austin, Nashville, and beyond.
Why long-term funding
Bitcoin puts time on the maker’s side.
A feature is a stack of passes. Picture, sound, color, the cut that is wrong, the cut that is closer. Late post-production is where the time hides, and then the film still has to be carried into a room and seen. Bitcoin is the tool for the months between almost and right: savings that do not expire while the work is still being finished.
Why it belongs here
The Bitcoin Executor is a narrative feature made outside Hollywood, funded by Bitcoiners, aimed at people who will never sit through a technical talk. Bitcoin for the Arts treats film as adoption infrastructure: a story someone can sit with, not a pitch deck.
Why support it now
A finished cut is not a released film. Screening, print, and a real campaign are how this story reaches people who do not already live in Bitcoin. That is the funding gap.
- Theatrical tour planning and screenings
- Marketing, including print and public posts
- Bitcoin-capable ticketing for the rooms that will show it
